The shorter the heater the better
Thermo plus heater is the latest result from almost 40 years of development, production and sales. It is significantly shorter and lighter than its predecessors, and has an extended service life while producing less starting noise and exhaust emissions.
Applicable in diesel buses and best additional fuel-burning heater solution for electrically powered buses to extend vehicle range. Released for selected alternative fuels according to DIN EN 15940.

Pre-glowing saves money and protects the environment
Our hybrid Thermo H plus heater combines the advantages of the two forms of bus heating energy in one device: electrical and diesel. The bus can be preheated emission-free before setting off and boosted with diesel power at low outside temperatures when the vehicle is moving. This avoids unnecessary burden on the traction battery storage.

For optimum thermal management in hybrid, electric, hydrogen and trolleybuses Valeo offers the Thermo AC/DC all-electric heater.
The independently operated heater with direct (600 VDC) or alternating current (400 VAC) is our answer to the drives of the future: It is 100% emission-free, i.e. no unpleasant odours from exhaust fumes and no noise. With a heat output of 7, 13 or 20 kW and efficiency factor of 98% the heater is suitable even for outside temperatures up to -40 degrees Celsius. Reliable operation is ensured by a proven and tested temperature sensor in the device.

Lightweight with silent power
The Valeo Thermo E+ series is a real winner in terms of consumption. And it was almost a foregone conclusion that our heaters would work efficiently even at temperatures as low as -40°C.
Thermo E+ units are available in 12V or 24V and also with a single or dual fuel line system. The 12 kW version was conceived as an auxiliary heater for mini, midi and e-buses. Incidentally, it is one of the shortest, and at 13.6 kg one of the lightest heaters in its class.
As all Valeo heater models Thermo E+ is suitable for alternative fuels.

High Voltage Water Coolant Heater
Thermo HV is the future solution for plugin and e-powered buses and commercial vehicles that quickly, consistently and reliably heats the vehicle interior. The compact device ensures a constantly high heat output of 12kW and allows for flexible use in a power range of 600 to 875 Volts. Thermo HV features infinitely variable heat output control by means of an integral control unit. This takes place either by regulating the water outlet temperature or by limiting the maximum heat output or power consumption.
Furthermore, it is CAN-capable and transmits key operating data to the vehicle system using an intelligent diagnostic function.

The powerful CC175 and CC225 roof top units were specially designed for reliable climate comfort in midibuses whereas the additional model CC275 with 32kW is also suitable for larger vehicles.
Ideal for either initial equipment or retrofitting, all models guarantee a cool interior at high outside temperature. High efficient radial blowers assure best air-flow and the units have a very small impact on fuel consumption due to low weight and high COP.

All- electric, intelligent energy management
The all-electric REVO ®-E rooftop unit for hybrid, electric, and trolley buses is characterised in particular by intelligent energy management, i.e. demand-oriented production of cool air depending on the available energy, and special compressor integration. The extremely compact electric compressor is located on the roof and not, as hitherto, at the rear of the vehicle. This has obvious advantages and due to the integration of all refrigerant-conducting components the closed system is more efficient, leak-proof and virtually maintenance-free.

Designed for the city
Valeo has developed an innovative and at the same time elegant climatic concept specially for city buses. With the new Citysphere air distribution system passengers are guaranteed a comfortable climate in the bus interior. Its low life cycle costs, together with maintenance free AC circuit, user friendliness and simple installation make the roof-top unit an efficient solution for many different applications.

Driver’s zone A/C simplified
We have quickly responded to the call for a maintenance- and user-friendly driver’s zone air conditioning unit that is easy to install. The result is the Citysphere S, which is based on our successful Citysphere model. By virtue of its compact dimensions and existing application interfaces, installation is astoundingly simple.

Integrated air conditioning systems
Integrated full air conditioning system: Using its expertise in heating, ventilating and cooling, Valeo assembles a complete air conditioning system from the components air conditioner, parking heater, convectors, frontbox and skylight. The interplay of these elements guarantees a pleasant and consistent interior environment. Split-type units are always customized solutions which can only be implemented in close cooperation with bus manufacturers.
